Press Release – Transition Asia joins Japan Climate Leaders’ Partnership (“JCLP”)
Transition Asia announced today that the organisation has joined the Japan Climate Leaders’ Partnership (“JCLP”), a coalition of 233 companies committed to climate action, as a supporting member.
Since its founding in 2021, Transition Asia has made Japan one of its geographical focus areas, publishing more than 40 reports on high-emission sectors to track their decarbonisation progress and provide stakeholders with technical insights for informed decision-making.
Transition Asia also conducts climate-focused discussions with stakeholders including corporates, investors, policymakers and downstream players to understand their needs and concerns on low-carbon procurement and to collaborate on meaningful decarbonisation action.
By becoming a member of JCLP, Transition Asia aims to deepen collaboration with Japanese stakeholders and provide robust data analysis and modelling to support sustainable, low-carbon transitions and progress towards a 1.5°C pathway.
